Imagine an early summer house concert festival with camping in a beautiful setting on a Virginia mountainside, featuring a wonderful diversity of folk and roots music performers up close and personal. Each Mountville brings to you a diverse mix of "the people's music"; singer/songwriters, traditional Appalachian and Celtic, African-American blues and much more - and you're invited to join in after the Main Stage in our Campfire Jams and songwriter circles.
Saturday afternoon starts at 1pm with a new part of Mountville, the Sycamore Song Circle! Hosted by Jillian Matundan Music and sponsored by Frederick Acoustic Music Enterprise - FAME, this is an opportunity to enjoy unplugged songs sung by artists new to us as well as past/present Mountville artists. Sign up to sing a song of your own in the shade of the giant sycamore tree.
How Do I Get an Invite? We'd love to have you attend! Everyone who is on our Email list will automatically get the invite to be here simply by being on the list. All you need to do is RSVP to one of those emails with name, how many folks you plan to attend with, and for fun what town you're coming from - we email the address and parking info to all our Yes or Maybe RSVPs around the beginning of June.
