About the poster: This poster is a play on Jillian's original "Singing to the Moon" album cover art full of references to the Winter Solstice: • Jillian replaced the Sampugita flowers from the original art with holly, a symbol to ancient cultures that signified the changing of the season from the Oak King (summer and sun) to the Holly King (winter and moon) • Antlers were added to the mandala to represent the stag, symbolizing rebirth (antlers shed and regrow, like the cycles of life). • Odin's ravens, Hugin (memory) and Munin (thought) flank the mandala. Odin is central to Yule celebrations and is considered the pre-cursor to Santa Claus. • In one last nod to Yule, the mandala is within an oval, giving it the appearance of an eye from a distance. This was to represent Odin's missing eye, one more symbol to the Norse God.

...and in case you are wondering, she does try to put a lot of symbolism into her mandalas, this one just had too many opportunities to give up!
