BIG UPDATES

Hi everyone!

I know it's been a minute since I have updated everyone - there's just so much going on and it's been a pretty hectic start to the new year.

First and foremost, some big news: we are near the finish line on the debut EP (squee!) - so that means that I can say with some clarity that it will be available soon! I'll be sure to let y'all know when exactly once I can - it's been a huge effort by so many people and I'm still sort of amazed it's really happening.

It also means I can announce that I will be having two EP release parties (whaaat)! Both shows will be unique and very different. Very excited to be doing an intimate, acoustic pre-release in Baltimore on April 18 at Four Hour Lutherie. And you never know who might join me on stage - stay tuned!

I'm over the moon to be doing a double album release with my amazing friend and fellow singer/songwriter, Michelle Swan (her new CD is fire!) on May 31 at Jammin Java in Vienna. We will be featuring three unbelievable friends and musicians - the award-winning songwriting duo, Luna (Kathleen Huber & Valeria Stewart), and the superb Florencia Rusiñol. We are also really excited to be joined on stage by some recognizable local musicians - it's going to be a really special night of music and collaboration and we can't wait to celebrate with you.

Between working on the EP, launching a website and getting all the social media up and humming, some gigs, hosting some open mics, collaborating with other artists, winning Relaypalooza and being selected to headline the Relay for Life in May, and working with some friends to create a music collaborative in the area (much more information on that to come) - on top of regular life, it's been pretty crazy. But I did get a chance to go on a pretty unreal vacation (Cayamo 2020) where I was immersed in some of the most amazing music while on a cruise - and to get to play music on the ship and meet some really great new friends - I can't complain (you can find all the details and pics on my Instagram).

It's hard to believe that it was only a year and a few weeks ago that I went to my first open mic in the area - my very first public performance in the area (and first open mic since 1997). It's even more mind-boggling when you consider that I only started writing music again just 18 months ago! So much has happened in such a short amount of time. I'm not sure when this feeling of awe and amazement of all of this even coming together in such a short time will end - but I can say I am so very grateful to the universe for the chance - and to all of you for all your support and love. I certainly could have never done it without such incredible people and musicians around me.

There's so much more to come and I can't wait to share it with you all. Hope to see you out there at a show!
